It's awesome you found time to join this round, Falak! Your doll is more than lovely! I love the colours you used for it! Everything look so soft and calm! The transparent effect of the skirt looks simply awesome! This skirt is probably my favourite part of the doll! And all the details and acessories are so pretty! A gorgeous doll!

More info on traditional fabrics: usually the skirts worn daily were of cotton. For special occasions the ladies would wear silks and transparent chiffon. There dances were usually performed on the even of ceremonial occasions such as a friend or relatives wedding. And all the females would gather and let loose. This was an all female celebration.
