Yup, expect something in the next week or so. I'll start with a simple dress without much detailing to show you the basics. Once you've got that down you can apply it to complex dresses like this one. :)

If you are willing to make a shading guide, I would most appreciate it. I guess my overall issue is how to determine where light will come from and how to shade accordingly. I usually just kinda shade as I go along which doesn't always work lol.

For this one I chose which side I wanted the light to fall on and then did my shading. Do you have any specific questions or concern areas? BC this is more of an overall dress process you can't really get the best shading guide but I can make another doll that covers shading in particular if you are interested. Then you can use this one to learn how to use the methods to add to dress designs and at what stages it can work best.
