If I am in a hurry I'd probably finish blending this and put finishes touches. That would be enough to post. But I want to add details so I'm leaving some room to add onto the skirt before finishing the blending.

@octavia, you know when I decided to open the wips for comments I was hoping to be able to help anyone with questions. To answers, I first fill in with soild color as long as it isn't to harsh. Then I go over it at least 1 time with the lightest transparency. This one isn't completely finished, but you can see some parts are better blended than others.

When you use the little balls to fill in the skirt, what transparency do you use? It looks like you were able to blend them in really well

To make the overskirt, first you must have an idea of the shape it will take. I use one of the draggies to create an outline. Then I begin filling it in with color. At this point, if I wanted a simpler doll I could have blended it in and finished but I have something more detailed in mind.
