BUT THEN in the next book Keladry didn't love him anymore and his parents didn't want him to marry her, they wanted him to marry someone else. I was honestly crushed and had to stop reading for about three days.

There's this other series I read with a girl called Keladry (wow I can't even remember if that's how it's spelled oops) who is trying to become a knight and she's the second female to ever attempt it, but the first one illegally snuck in and pretended to be a dude. There's this one guy called Cleon who jokingly called her stuff like "pearl of my heart" and it was hilarious but IT WAS MY OTP and after a couple of one-sided crushes on other people Keladry and Cleon FINALLY became a thing.

That must have been so frustrating!!! In the end of Chess, (spoiler alert) Anatoly ends up going back to Russia EVEN THOUGH HE AND FLORENCE ARE PERFECTION AND HE HAD ENGLISH CITIZENSHIP AND PERFECTLY GOOD REASONS TO DIVORCE HIS VERY DISTANT WIFE. >.<

It was also the first book series where I had an otp. It didn't become cannon and it was sO INFURIATING BC THERE WAS EVEN A PART WHERE JUNO ADMITTED IT PROBABLY WOULD HAVE HAPPENED

THE MEGA FANDOOOOOM! Juno of Taris really is amazing! It's the first futuristic Dystopian trilogy that is set in New Zealand, so it's really cool!

Don't worry I do that all the time with books that were written by New Zealanders so pretty much NO ONE knows them. Like Juno of Taris, for example. Possibly the best book I've ever read.
