Just like he had no good reason to kill Mariel as long as his son abided by his ruling (which was why Peotr obeyed, to protect her), and didn't do so.

I love it too, but it makes me sad still TT-TT I did think about that, as that is what an alpha would do. However, I thought about the fact that Haruna was not born on his territory and therefore he would have no jurisdiction over her life, and when she was brought back to the clan, Peotr was already Alpha and his word was now law, not his father's...he had no real reason to kill her.
