Ughhh, I'm never doing that again though. Three days of that insanity (most of it was figuring out how to do said scales) Yeah, Alia's story is a very sad one...:( But I'm hoping to give her a happy ending.

and not be separated with the grief of losing their loved one too soon, or have their children lose a parent. Families are very important in the Aite system...of course, in Alia's case, it was more a way of the Councilman owning her forever...Though she is grateful that she's been able to see her children grow up.

A few last notes: Alia loves both of her children dearly and obviously would do anything for them. Despite Ryo being born from the Councilman, she still loves him and he adores her. Despite being human, Alia has lived and will live as long as the Councilman due to a serum she was given upon marriage to him that prolongs her life many times over. On the rare occasion that a human marries a pure-blood, this serum is given to them to insure that they may live happily together as a couple

She now lives with her father, far too afraid to return to the Ventus home to see her mother, and so completing the Councilman's horrible revenge on Alia, leaving her with nothing of the family she loved, not even her son (he would never see Ryo as HIS son, only hers). Ryoridan, who cares for Nyx as a real sister and tried to protect her from his father, getting attacked himself, also rarely returns home, only doing so to check on his beloved mother because he worries about her.

He made Irianyx's life miserable, vindicating his own fury over the reminder of his wife's betrayal through that misery. Despite her step-brother and mother, who both loved her dearly, trying to help and protect her, Nyx quickly left the Ventus home as soon as she was old enough, having found where her real father lived through her mother, who often told her stories about him when the Councilman wasn't around.
