I think it is very good conceptually. perhaps try some greens and purples. Colors found in glaciers. Try looking at some pictures of arctic ice and such and pay close attention to the reflective colors, they may give you some ideas.
@Samarasylvan - Thank you for the feedback! Yeah, I thought the colours were a bit dark. I will try other shades. I did try white, but it turned out to be a bit too much contrast >.< I also did want her to stand out in the scenery as well. Thank you for the compliment at the end as well, I have to say I quite like this character design for her.
I think the colors are fine but because of her dark skin I think I would switch them or lighten up the dark blue, maybe even use a white. Overall she looks very good though.
Side Notes: Again, this is all very conceptual. I wanted to play around with the outfits for the Courts and I wanted to do Arabelle's first, cos she is quickly becoming one of my favourite characters in my head. Also because I have more thoughts for her than I do for the others right now...>.< So, you'll be seeing a lot of this one for a while. I'll be working on a proper bio pic for her soon. Please please tell me what you think, I would love to hear some feedback =]
Ooh, we've learned something new about Arabelle! XD Yes, she is a member of the Winter Court, the Citadel of which is located in the Unseelie Realm, Echlere. Echlere is a realm of winter, frost and snow. Everything is beautiful, but in a more harsh way than the Seelie Realms. while you would feel a sense of calm and peace in the Seelie Realms, in Echelere, the atmosphere is full of trepidation and anxiety. One should be wary when wandering the frozen forests of this realm.
