'Aunt' Tearju was always there when the Riverfall girls needed her, and even more so after Demetra died. Being Demetra's best friend, Tearju was named Godmother for Persephone and Diana, and Demetra trusted her friend with the task of passing on some heirlooms to Seph when she was old enough, including Demetra's wedding dress...)
Seph stared at the woman in the mirror. It was almost impossible to believe that was her. Tearju smiled gently. "You look just as beautiful as she did." Seph felt her throat close up and she closed her eyes to try and keep the tears in. "No one is as beautiful as she was..." she said, voice trembling. Tearju's eyes welled up as well as she gently touched Seph's shoulder. "Of course..."
