| So, where does Siren fit into all of this? She may not kill people for a living (like Monet), preferring to blackmail and manipulate her targets, but she has always been a rival with Monet. Perhaps this is because Monet is forced to live a life of secrecy, while Siren can practice in broad daylight since she is under the protection of a local, very powerful warlord.
