| I finally finished the prologue to my new mystery story which I'm calling "Not Proven." The title comes from some research I did on Scottish criminal justice, which I learned is quite a bit different than the justice system in the rest of the UK. They have three verdicts: guilty, not guilty, and not proven. I was fascinated by the third verdict and decided to name my series after it. This scene doesn't actually show up in the story, I just was inspired to make this doll of Lileas. This is my first time writing a mystery series, so it's not great and I only have a few cases planned out so far. This first story is more of an introduction than anything else, attempting to develop characters and introduce the setting. And sorry @Sorachan, I don't think I portrayed Vivian very well. I'll get into her character over time, but this first story was a little rough for both her and Lileas. #NotProven ~Gwenn |
