| Here's Hayley again, this time representing the Siamese Fighting Fish for this week's marine theme! Fun fact: I used to have one of these fish when I was younger. Because siamese fighting fish (or betta) can come in many different colors and varieties, I chose a color scheme that I thought would work best with Hayley (inspiration here: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/96/ea/f5/96eaf58345ac1779e2073f0563b53465.jpg). Her top mimics the scales of the fish and her dress is the tail; her hair was meant to echo the movement of a siamese fighting fish's fins as well. Since these fish are often seen as pets, I created a simple background of aquarium pebbles and those little frilly green plants one often sees in a fish tank.
