| For some reason, I always have difficulties making holiday-themed art so when I was trying to come up with ideas for a doll to make for Christmas, I decided to create Sara Chatain in Paris as it adds some historical boundaries to the piece. Of course, the background isn't entirely accurate to Paris in the 1880s I'm sure. Plus, the proportions are way off and the Eiffel Tower looks like it's going to fall over. Oh well. I do like how Sara's dress turned out; this was my first time doing a real repo on Snow Queen. Of course, her outfit is embellished to match Sara's style and though most women would have worn their hair up during this time period, Sara prefers to wear hers down. Merry Christmas! ~Gwenn |
