| For @DysMalLexia's #Monsters'#Ball: Swamp Thing is pretty much the classic #horrormovie staple, equipped with balls of phosphorescent swamp gas (better known as foxfire or corpse candles). The Firefly#Fairy is my own creation; also a monster of the deep swamp, her size is variable from that of a stinging insect to a small human, and she is very aggressive. Don't let her semi-cuteness fool you! Both are eco-warriors, protecting the wetlands from invasive species such as foreign vegetation and human intruders. (Each is the other's "plus one" for the ball. Affectionately, they call one another Bog and Fie, respectively.) #Halloween |
