So this is Lady Talon, Half-Dragon, in her teen years, if she had gone to Monster High (I doubt they'd have admitted her to Ever After High, but who knows?). Talon's true name is a secret known only to herself and her mother, a Medieval French peasant woman, now sadly deceased.
Talon's father was a golden eyed, red dragon, disguised as a human, exploring his wanderjahr and seeing the world. He didn't originally intend to take any responsibility for Talon's upbringing other than leaving her mother well provided with gold, but Talon tracked him to the gates of Dragondom and shamed him into acknowledging her as his daughter, at which time she gained her wings, which previously she had lacked.
Usually her red wings are invisible, as are her patches of green scales, now that Talon knows how to control their manifestation. However, today is parent-teacher conference day, and she's feeling a bit stressed. |
