I understand that this would belong in Round One of @ubetableiveit's "Wedding Gown Shoppe" contest, and that Round One is over and therefore I cannot enter, but I felt like making a Christmas themed wedding dress anyway, and I thought perhaps she wouldn't mind if I added it to her contest just for fun.
Thank you kindly for the encouragement, ubeta!! I've been neglecting my poetry lately, as for a while I was quite discouraged and felt lost, but now I believe I could go back to it with purity of intention.
Oh Saralyn that is wonderful. I think that the Women of the Bible Gallery we are working on is a wonderful way to teach so I hope you and I and anyone else will continue. As it relates to your poetry oh I do hope it will be published. I can imagine I am a part of a prayerline ministry and would love for you to join in sometime with us and we would welcome a poetic reading. I write poems to and as you can tell I like to write stories and plays.
I do, of course, spread the Lord's words when I am graced with the opportunity to do so. But also among my gifts is the ability to write poetry in praise of the Living God, which many members of my prayer group have found quite moving. I'm trying to work up the nerve to attempt to get them published...
The Holy Spirit has gifted and graced me to teach. I love to teach the word of the Lord. I am not a Joyce Meyers or TD Jakes but the word says every joint supplieth so each member of the body of Christ is important. If you have been endowed by the Spirit of God to teach the Bible then know that your contribution is valuable. May God open doors to you to teach. I am sure you would be a blessing to those whom God places in your path to sow the word of God
Yes Saralyn I agree that we all can learn from one another in different areas. When it comes to the word of the Lord the Holy Spirit is the teacher. The Scripture poses this question in I Corinthians 12:29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles? No but what the Spirit of the Living God endows us to do we do based on the gift and grace of God. God also gives talents and you my friend are a talented designer. Keep up the good work.
Once again, many thanks, ubeta!! I am far from being a spiritual master, but I feel sincerely that I have been called to teach, and pass on whatever limited wisdom I have learned. And I have always thought that the best teachers are not necessarily the smartest, but those who most encourage and inspire their students. :) We all have so much to share with one another, do we not?
Now back to the game
RP The salesperson who was assistiing the bride who wanted avant garde presented her with a SaralynArati design and she insisted that she try it on before making a decision. Commentary: Though this design was created for Christmas it fits the bill for Avant garde. It has a bold risky edgy appearance with class and dignity. The red accentuates the gown in a beautiful way and anyone seeking a unique beautiful design would find this one captivatiing.
Thank you Saralyn Arati for your kindness to cheer me on in designing clothing. My designs do not get too many crowns or compliments but it is a way to fullfill a dream My passion though is ministering to others the gospel. It is amazing how God can open opportunities to share with others. I like posting games because that is one of my spiritual gifts encouragement and I love to encourage others in their talents and gifts for the glory of God . God used you to encourage me in that way.
Role Play: The next customer also states she is planning her wedding for Christmas Eve and is looking for a unique design but that correlates with this glorious holiday. She said, I want the one in the window by Saralyn Arait. It is exaclty what I am looking for. The salesperson works vigorously to undress the manniquin to give the insistent bride the garment.
As I view this, I must give a crown in three categories two crowns for beauty, one for originality, one for accuracy for a Christmas gown. Wonderuful job.
