Partially inspired by TheLadyAranel's wonderful ancient Egyptian dolls, especially: http://www.dolldivine.com/Neptune's-Daughter/TheLadyAranel-2861731 However, I was not as satisfied with the quality of my first attempt as I would've liked to have been. Obviously Nut has been modernized somewhat.

This is so cool! A very original entry to the contest, and I love the way you incorporated the day-and-night theme in this doll. It's subtle, and doesn't overwhelm the doll, but it's original and grabs the eye! The sunbeams and stars on either side of her are really a brilliant idea. And, you recreated actual constellations? Looking closely, I think I see the little dipper! SO cool! This is a really original doll!
