That is so beautiful! The snow is gorgeous and the night sky and so beautiful! The people look really good, the shadow is especially good! The shading is amazing. This reminds me of a play called Almost, Maine in which there's an act where a woman goes to watch the Aurora Borealis in someone's yard.

What a beautiful gift for such a wonderful person! I absolutely love the colors in the sky, the blues and purples create such a sense of beauty, depth, and movement against the darkness beyond. The shimmer against the black is especially beautiful. The cottage is very well done, and the warmth of it is so well emphasized through the smoking chimney. As for the pair, I love their placement away from the cabin, watching the sky in the cold while their shadows fall on the vastness of the scene. <3

Awww, I'm touched! So glad I decided to drop in one last time before departure otherwise I'd have missed this. It is indeed a beautiful and magical scene. I can easily imagine myself there under the stars. Also I adore that little cottage with the chimney and Christmas lights. Thank you for this most wonderful gift. I love it!
