| Adairs parents pic 1 - his mother Faelaiah in her original form - Since her childhood Faelaiah was curious of other races. Where the other shapeshifters hated them and fought against them, she wanted to know them, and whenever she could she sneaked up to their villages and houses to watch them. One night she got too close to a horse stable (in shape of a wolf) and was almost killed by a guardian when she was fleeing. A young elven man found the wounded "wolf". He didn't kill it, but took him to his hut. There he saw the wolf transforming into a female shapeshifter. Being himself an elven scholar, he didn't kill her, for he wanted to learn more about her species, and soon he learned that they were no wild beasts at all and even could speak. They fell in love, and because they couldn't live with her people, they moved away so they could live in a foreign elven village. At day she shifted into an elven woman; at night she changed back into her real form. #TheNightWatchers |
