Keiya Lyfe is an inner-city history teacher, working with at-risk students. On a museum field-trip, two of her students get into a fight, causing her to crash into a vessel that has held the spirit of the goddess Isis for thousands of years. Isis enters Keiya's body, merging with her own spirit and giving her all the powers of creation, healing and resurrection. She uses her powers to protect the inhabitants of her troubled neighborhood and create a better environment for her students.
