| (What the - I made an error in the HTML code, and most of my description didn't show up!! Sorry, everyone!) Based on this illustration from 1872. (I can't seem to find out who made it - there was no such information on the Wikipedia page I found it on, and a Google search turned up nothing. One of the other historical images on that same page was claimed to be an "anonymous print", so maybe this one is as well?) My assigned theme and detail immediately made me think of the Man in the Iron Mask; but it took a while to figure out how to carry out that concept in my doll. In particular, I didn't know how to incorporate red into the scene - so I ended up attempting a monochrome image, with the whole picture using only various shades of red. #colourthemedetail2 #hiddendoll #history |
