(For @NightOwl's Lady of That Name game.) Henrietta Lacks (1920-1951) was a poor black woman from Virginia, and a mother of five. In 1951, she went to John Hopkin's Hospital, Baltimore, MD, and was diagnosed with cervical cancer.
