| So, I may or may not have more than one EAH OC (probably more like seven or eight). One of my favorite fairy tales is Mother Holle, which is about that classic stepsister issue where the protagonist is treated a lot like Cinderella and is sent out to do some chores. On the way, she helps out some people and comes across this woman, Mother/Frau Holle, who has her do a few tasks. The protagonist is rewarded for her hard work with a shower of gold, so when she returns home the stepmother orders her daughter (the stepsister) to go out and find Mother Holle. She is lazy and doesn't follow through with the tasks so Mother Holle rewards her with a shower of pitch/tar. Kaj, being the daughter of Mother Holle, has a strict sense of justice and is often called to weigh in on school disputes. ~Gwenn |
