GwennBot looks like a human being, but she cannot process emotions the same way they do and has difficulty relating to humans. Ask her a question about history, science, or literature, and she can answer in a heartbeat. The single issue she can never understand, however, is love. Romantic love, that is. She understands the love from her human parents and the few human friends she managed to make (and lose) over the years, but while the other humans her age talk about crushes and relationships she can only listen. She vaguely wonders what romance would be like while also knowing that a human would never love an android like herself. And is she even interested in a relationship? In theory, maybe. But she does not understand romance and has never felt love herself. (cont'd)

I was looking through the contests and found @Dollie's Lost Love contest and could only think of this for myself...lol I have never lost love but neither have I found it. ~Gwenn

She certainly doesnât need anyone, having survived independently for most of her life, but when she is surrounded by so many people who are obsessed with romance (and intimacy, which she is not interested in at all and never will be) she can only feel lessâ¦human than ever before. Some say love is what makes us human. That must explain why GwennBot is an android.
