| Happy 1st of March aka Baba Marta! This is a traditional Bulgarian celebration and it's today. On this day, we wear bracelets, made out of white and red thread and decorated with different beads for luck and health. They are called martenitsas. We take down them when we see the first migrant birds- storks or swallows and then we hang them on the trees. And I made a martenitsa-inspired dress. It's mix of Bulgarian traditional clothes, modern fashion and my own design. The border martenitsa, exactly how it look. I hope you like it. :) |
