@Ailsa : thank you! how did I do this? Flagrant abuse of the fuzzy paint brush. All you have to do is choose two or three colors that blend well together and go crazy layering them until you have a background you like, then switch to the black solid paint brush and have at it. The hardest part for me is the actual background, and getting enough fine control to actually make a decent circle. One of these days I might actually succeed, lol!
