(cont.) make up most of this seasons, and most people in the city retreat underground/to shelter and avoid the outside if at all possible. Though, this violent and harsh season leads to one that is much milder. The third season is the longest of all of them, being double the length of the first typically, and is characterized by mild, warm-ish weather. The last season brings another wave of very dry weather, but the mild temperatures from the 3rd slowly drop until the year begins again.

The year is divided into 5 seasons with vastly different weather patterns and characteristics. The first is an incredibly cold but very very dry season. This is one of the shorter seasons, but very few things can grow or thrive during this season. The next season is the absolute shortest, and the temperatures drop even lower and the air becomes very humid. Storms (including possible snow and flooding/hurricanes from the sea that borders a part of the city) and other very harsh conditions (cont.)

Realistically, this is fantasy, even having an arctic jungle would be feasible if that's what someone wanted, I just felt a reminder was necessary so people were aware, but I apologize if I was too specific.

Thanks :D Yeah, I know (I used to live in a high desert area--we had snow in our backyard clear into May one year). When I mentioned deserts last round, I meant in the "traditional" sense, because the first thing that pops into /most/ people's heads is something more like the Sahara, and I didn't want anyone to get disappointed by suggesting one thing and then have the results drastically shifted to fit the climate.
