I demand a neutral dealer!" "Whom do you recommend?" asked the half-Alfyn calmly. "I suggest we move this game to the Grey Moth and request that Fatine deal; otherwise I won't play," Sharp vowed.

The description matched the face Karako thought she'd seen once in her abortive scry at the wagon. She'd been vaguely Egyptian or Middle Eastern in appearance, with heavier makeup than women usually wore these days. Perhaps, like Sharp, she kept her disguises thin and simple. Yet, it was good enough to fool a fae into thinking she was another fae in a small room. Odd, indeed. Karako met Robin's eyes and read the same thing in them that she was thinking: where was that litella? They had to know!

That was the crux of the matter, and why 'Hiss' had come to him. She'd wished to buy evidence of the whereabouts of a pair of litella shackles. Well, Sharp hadn't possessed actual evidence, but he had known where some could be found... information he'd swiftly told her in her rage at being denied exactly what she wanted... before she forgot about the girl and went after him, or something equally horrible. "Girl?" Robin interjected. "You didn't mention any girl." "You failed to pay me to do so."

The game continued in this fashion until its natural conclusion, with Sharp somehow managing to wind up losing quite a bit of information to the Bubble Magician just as he had to his prior opponent. As it turned out, the night fae truly didn't know his contact's name. For convenience, she had called herself 'Hiss' and seemed to find it funny that he'd assumed she was some sort of wild feline fae. Although... and this knowledge was hard won... he didn't understand why a fae would want litella.
