Sharp, being a rogue and a villain, at once saw a novice whom he could fleece out of a great deal of money. The Kitsune didn't disillusion him, and tell him that Robin and she had merely been practicing how to act together as a team, since Fae Whist was ideally a two person game, though it could be expanded to four if you played as two pairs of partners. It was relatively easy to convince Sharp to take these two strangers back to his home, as both his bravado and his insobriety were factors in his decision. All it took was a suggestion and the production of a similar hip flask by Robin, as well as Karako "innocently" remarking that the Bubble Magician had recently been teaching her how to play Fae Whist... a complex card game containing elements of Whist, Piquet, Pinochle, and some unique rules and factors... which was conveniently the truth.

At the moment, the compulsive fae gambler was disposed to be affectionate, somewhat rambunctiously so, which made separating him from his coterie of innocent bystanders a little difficult. His disguise was thin; he was a human color, but a tinge on the greyish side, he wore a watch cap over his pointed ears, and sunglasses hid his black sclerae.
