If anything major had happened to them there, such as being struck by a car or knifed by thieves, the Bear Tribe Shaman should have been able to feel the disturbance generated in Tiger's life force. So that was implausible as well. Still, everyone would be relieved and reassured when the "teens" were located and some reasonable explanation for their absence was provided, particularly Hawkeye and Isthare. Both the boy's cousin and the girl's coven leader were counting on Marea in their stead.

Of course, there were monsters and wild creatures in the Twilight Realm, but most of those wouldn't haul their prey away bodily; it was too much trouble. Plus the young duo would have put up a considerable fight, even without her griffin. And, since Vedika was one of the Sisters of Nemesis, accidentally straying into dark Witch territory shouldn't be a crisis for the pair. In short, it was much more probable that no harm had befallen them, and they were somewhere in the mortal side of Europe.

He didn't say that as a Yeled, he couldn't follow her into the Twilight Realm; they both knew it. There were no better woodsmen than the Oakenlings, however, so if Tiger and Vedika had been anywhere remotely between the wedding venue in southern Germany and Eikenvat, Bjorgun should've discovered some sign of them. Therefore, logically, they were either in the human world, or extremely distant from their natural route... extremely... like India, for example... with no trace of how they got there.

"Not exactly my taste, but if you insist," he said. "Presumably his task is to show you the most recent Twilight Realm campsite he found."
