The Amen smoke is drawn quickly into the miniature tornado of scintillating diamond fog. As though given new form by its azure component, suddenly limbs spin out from the funnel cloud, and just that fast, it collides with the human essence, designed to embody Amen in every way. Did it sink in or dissipate? For a moment more, a few tiny lights glitter on his skin and in his hair, and then the statue, inanimate no longer, opens his eyes and smiles. He is Amen, and he's a mortal boy once again.

The stone begins to grow and rotate, gathering speed and size as it loses concreteness, becoming a large whirlwind of dense yet very shiny fog. Concurrently, the fey lad is also turning into blue smoke.

Syeha has, of course, brought the diamond ring, as technically she's been his "Mistress" for the past few weeks. Ifrit has brought only herself, although she is prepared to do her all to bring about a happy conclusion, or at least ensure the status quo, should anything seem to her djinn senses to be going wrong. No one asks her what she might do if that occasion arises, which is good, since it is as alarming as it is drastic, and utterly alien to human magic. Amen's blue darkens towards navy.

They start before dawn, in the courtyard of the Academy to accommodate those Mages who are curious enough to rise early and watch, but too soon for students to be hanging around. Not that there should be much to see, if all goes according to plan. And, well... even less if it doesn't, but the group is quite optimistic about their chances. Silver Fox has brought the essence statue. It looks just like Amen did before he went into the gem, only a couple of years older since he's aged slightly.
