Thanks very much, Aylatha! My thought was that the roses were in some way sealed and preserved so that they wouldn't dry out and die as quickly, and then affixed to the railing, a little like notes on a musical staff.

I love the sparkles on her dress and her hair looks lovely, but my favourite part is the railing behind her. Are the roses supposed to be some sort of garland? Or do they have floating roses in this place? ^^

Many thanks, kittty!!! I wanted the overskirt to kind of wrap around her like a flower unfolding; I just thought that was so authentic to the character.

Thanks so much, Anna and launing!! @launing, do not despair, she will have many new hairstyles to love, I hope. @Anna, I have lots more dolls of E'lin and her in-laws that I'm using just for my own reference, but I'll post them when I have more of her story to put on my page.
