My third and final #Noirfey bride. Yes, this is Catleya de Seleni. (And yes, I pretty much recycled one of my previous masks, because I liked it so much.) Whether this doll will become useful in the course of my story or not, is as yet unknown, but I think it might. At any rate, it is always best to be prepared. (#Noxvaelia belongs to @Viva-la-Luna)
She's not ready! Emphatically, no, she's not! It's entirely Velen's fault for kissing her... like that... and then walking away to find her mother and ask formal permission to journey with Catleya to Ville Eternelle, the heart of Noxvaelia. Of all the unscrupulous tricks to force her hand... well, Cat had expected better of him. It was only forgivable because Velen apparently had a contact in the capitol city who might prove useful. After all, they didn't really know what to look for...
She... is a bride, the Noirfey girl thinks dreamily, and... Cat is all right with that. In an open and accepting way, she's very pleased. Everything is as it should be. Wait! What? Sitting bolt upright in bed, with her eyes wide, Catleya breathes and counts to one hundred. It was only a dream, obviously, but a disturbing one. The young assassin is alarmed precisely because it wasn't a bad dream. Her subconscious is experimenting with the concept of marriage, and it's making her happy!
Catleya is walking a familiar path. The Temple grounds are lovely, shimmering shades of lavender in the moonlight. For a while, silence reigns, only a companionable click of crystals accompanying her movements. A thought occurs to her, that she has brought no blossom for the goddess. She herself is the flower, someone reassures Cat. And her sense of peace and quiet bliss returns. Next, Cat notices she, strangely, isn't wearing white. In fact, Catleya is draped and veiled in purest black.
Thank you kindly, launing!!! You're wonderful to say so, and I deeply appreciate it!! As for Cat, I don't think she's ready to be married just yet, so I'm thinking a dream or a flash forward would be the most likely use for this dress. We'll see what unfolds. :)
Many thanks once again, Luna!!! Your comments really make my night!! With this one, I was actually trying for a bit of an orchid flower-like dress and veil for her, since Catleya is named after one of my favorite varieties of orchids.

A lovely gown for a lovely bride! They adornments and decorations are exactly what a Noirfey bride would wear on her wedding day. Lovely as always Saralyn!
