Let it be known that I LOVE the new fashion gloves! May I use them in future dolls? Also, FINALLY, more talk between these two!! And good to know that she received the information from Prem Deva as well. My faith in her is restored little by little :)

Cat, in turn, is subdued. She wants to share with Velen all of the new information which was revealed in Yogure, but her vow to Deva is sacrosanct. Until Catleya has leave to include the young cleric in that secret, the resultant data must stay hidden as well. She resolves to schedule a general discussion and knowledge exchange as soon as possible... somehow. Oddly enough, Cat does tell Velen she had an assignment in Yogure; one she was unable to complete... unsure of the desired reaction.

Catleya is unexpectedly sanguine about Velen having questioned her family as those nearest to the crime. She doesn't precisely praise him for doing what she was reluctant to do, but neither is she irate. Velen delivers Laelinae's message: the mother will be less secretive if the daughter will renounce all thoughts of retribution. He conveys Meretris's studied aloof attitude. And he admits to Cat that his own mother knows much that no skill of his can finagle free. That's all he mentions.

The young Noirfey assassin barely has time to see him in public, much less arrange for secret, after hours strategy meetings. So with Laelinae's permission, Velen takes matters into his own hands, and waits for Catleya in a comfortable lounge chair outside her bedroom. The cleric neither wishes to intrude on her personal space, nor risk being reflexively skewered if Cat should be unpleasantly surprised. Yet he needs a little while spent alone with her, if only to relate his progress so far.

The "banner-gloves" invented by Prem Deva as a nod toward traditional sleeves of Yogure for Noirfey ladies are immensely popular, and with the number of new commissions she has received due to Catleya's fairy costume, the Kuromi girl takes to wearing her measuring tapes as a fashion statement. Cat does not forget her pledge to help discover how well the secret of Master Ingyen's name is known within the criminal organization, either. She will be very busy. And in the middle of this is Velen.
