Sorry for the late reply! And ohh my Catleya, what a lovely lady you have become~ Her braid is so lovely and her gown is beyond stunning! Its also interesting to see just how she's beginning to handle herself in the face of nobility. Publicly, at a least.

What will Velen think, what will he do, if she shows up at the temple once again in mourning white? With his sensitive telepathy, will he somehow be able to detect her engagement in deadly pursuits even before she acts? All of these things are in the back of her mind as Catleya makes sure that there are enough dainty delicacies to eat, that everyone who wishes to sit out a round of dancing is able to find a comfortable chair, and in general that things are running smoothly. She keeps smiling.

Catleya smiles generously, and even laughs on occasion, almost as if her heart were light and untroubled. It is not. There are not so many high level deaths to be arranged that Catleya's double life keeps her busy, precisely, but she finds all of this partying and socializing rather tiresome. Almost she wishes for a nice, neat, murder to plan, and this feeling alarms her exceedingly. Also, it has been a while since she has been contacted for such an assignment, and now she dreads the next.

Everything, of course, drips with flowers, and the decorations are very beautiful. Velen and Deva can both guess what it is costing Catleya to maintain her self-composure throughout the reception of so many inquisitive guests. With her mother unable to move confidently through the milling crowd, hostess duties fall upon Catleya herself, and she wouldn't have it any other way; the young elf woman regards the night's entertainment as an elaborate game of strategy, one which she intends to win.
