Hayley Catherine Rose Vivien Mills (born April 1946), the daughter of Sir John Mills and Mary Hayley Bell, and younger sister of actress Juliet Mills, began her acting career at 12 and was hailed as an instant success, winning the BAFTA Award for Most Promising Newcomer for Tiger Bay (1959), the Academy Juvenile Award for Pollyanna (1960) and Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year – Actress in 1961. During her early career, she appeared in six films for Walt Disney, and is perhaps best known for her dual role as twins Susan and Sharon in the Disney film The Parent Trap (1961). Thank you, NightOwl!!! I still like the original movie better, although there's something about the secondary love story between the cook and the butler that I find charming in the remake.

Thanks so much, LadySky!!! Yes, I remember "Pollyanna" and the chandelier crystals! Beautiful! And yes, Lindsey Lohan was cute, but it took more than that to flesh out her version of the film.

I LOVED this movie as a kid! You did a great job recreating the twins, I knew from the thumbnail this was the Hayley Mills (best) version of "The Parent Trap." Remember "Pollyanna"? xD Great job!

Her popularity, while still high, diminished during her late teens, but then she took a break from acting in 1975 at the age of 29. In 1981 she returned to the industry, taking numerous television roles. She is currently on tour with a theater production of the comedy "Legends!" by James Kirkwood, starring alongside her older sister Juliet and brother-in-law. She has been married once, and has two sons from that and another relationship.
