| The third of the Kardinia brothers. Eldyrn was a priest of the Sun Spire in the little village where the Kardinia family used to live. When disaster struck, he was separated from his brothers, Eldrid and Eldhru. Eldyrn is the oldest of the three children, though often acts the least mature. He was taken in by the grand temple in northern Enaste when the priests there discovered he was the Vessel of the Sun God, Aelsinaire.
