| How does a girl go about stealing a kingdom? Well, for starters, she steals the crown prince. Meet Ilara, a common thief paid to steal the prince away from his fiancée, ruining a strategic marriage that would prevent a war. And steal him she did, gliding into the engagement ball with her usual dramatic flair. What she didn't expect was that while she was stealing his heart, he was stealing hers. At midnight, the prince announced his engagement to Ilara--not the foreign princess--and went to war to marry the woman he loved. And Ilara--against all her preconceptions--fought alongside him. When the war was won and Ilara and the prince married, she finally dared to tell him who she was. He laughed and said he'd known for months.
