| I made a contest asking for theme suggestions and Em, of the joint-account SailorDione, suggested climate based dolls, such as 'artic' tropic' 'desert' etc. I chose desert. I tried to make the top of her dress look like the cracked earth of the Nevada desert, but it was pretty hard and I wasn't entirely successful. The bottom of the dress is the sand of the Sahara, her jewelry is the turquoise found in Nevada and Arizona, and her hair and eyes are the clear, blue skies seen over deserts in general. Thanks for your suggestion Em!
