| Merfae are a younger race in the Twin Realms, but have still existed for many years. They are a fairly kind hearted people, with a love for shiny things (coins and jewels) as well as a near obsession with facial and skin markings. They are very talented in these arts and have even perfected a method to tattoo their tails, which then show up on their legs or feet the few times that they are in their human form. The patterning of their tail also appears on their legs in human form and their gills and webbing on their hands disappear when they are in this form.
