| Juliet is the only birth child of her parents, her mother having to have surgery that left her infertile soon after Juliet was born. Wanting another child and Juliet wanting a sibling, they recently adopted 10-year-old Naomi from a local orphanage. Naomi and Juliet are inseparable and the best of friends, though they do still have their occasional sibling spats. Naomi is obsessed with princesses and dress up. For her birthday, which they celebrated after they adopted her as it had just passed, Juliet and her mother made her a princess dress and cape while Juliet herself bought her new sister a little tiara and scepter. The little girl's most prized possession, however, is the star shaped locket that her family gave her when she came home that now holds a picture of all of them inside.
