| So, I've been developing my new idea a bit more and here is something else about Ixoras (the main country in this story). There are three magical schools in Ixoras associated with the people here from left to right: Academy Obscura, Academy Vulgaris, and Academy Magnus. Vulgaris is a school for practical or common magic; the students will learn how to use their abilities in more everyday contexts to help the kingdom run smoothly. Magnus is dedicated to "higher" magics (i.e. magics that cannot really be used every day), and Obscurus is a school for the rare and dangerous types of magic. It is sometimes considered less of a school and more of a place where magic is studied and contained rather than taught. ~Gwenn |
